The Mississinawa Valley Local School District of Darke County is in the business of educating the children of our community.  Our community includes Union City, Hillgrove, Lightsville, Elroy, and Rosehill as well as all of Jackson Township, and significant portions of Mississinawa, Allen, and Washington Townships.  The district enrolls approximately 700 students at our campus located at Hunchberger Corners, the intersection of State Route 47 and Staudt Road.  Our students are provided with an education that reflects the values of our community and provides extracurricular opportunities in athletics, the performing and visual arts, as well as a nationally recognized FFA program.
